“Flashback” is the most contemporary exhibition of ancient and modern art. The name already contains its topics and objectives: on the one hand, the retrospective action – through which it carries the past into the present -, on the other, the exhibition project inspired by Gino De Dominicis’s conceptual research on the theme of immortality and which emphasises the “contemporaneity” of the experience of use of the work. All the participants (art galleries, historians, critics and curators, visual and non-visual artists, philosophers, journalists, collectors and economists) contribute to creating a varied verbal and visual dictionary, from antiquity up to today, where works, and more in general human thought, are presented to the public as tools of knowledge.
